Description

A delicious copycat recipe of the famous Shrimp Scampi from the Cheesecake Factory, featuring succulent shrimp in a garlic butter sauce served over pasta.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking until they turn pink and opaque.
  6. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the shrimp and sauce until well combined.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
