A delicious copycat recipe of the famous Shrimp Scampi from the Cheesecake Factory, featuring succulent shrimp in a garlic butter sauce served over pasta.

- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Cook the linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking until they turn pink and opaque.
- Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the shrimp and sauce until well combined.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of heavy cream to the sauce.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes based on your spice preference.
