Description

A deliciously cheesy chicken dish stuffed with garlic-infused mushrooms and cream cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add chopped mushrooms and sauté until tender and golden brown.
  5. In a bowl, combine the sautéed mushroom mixture with cream cheese and half of the shredded cheese.
  6. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast.
  7. Stuff each chicken breast with the mushroom and cheese mixture.
  8. Place the stuffed chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour any leftover filling over them.
  9. Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Consider using an air fryer for quicker cooking or adding spinach for extra nutrition.
