Description

Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Bites are delicious, bite-sized snacks coated in a sweet cinnamon sugar mixture, perfect for satisfying your cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each into a bite-sized ball.
  6. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add baking soda.
  7. Boil the pretzel bites for 30 seconds, then remove and place on the baking sheet.
  8. Brush the bites with melted butter.
  9. Mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the bites.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • These pretzel bites are best served warm.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
