Ingredients

- 2 pounds potatoes
- 1 cup chopped cabbage or kale
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes, then boil them in salted water until tender.
- In a separate pot, cook the chopped cabbage or kale until wilted.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add the butter and milk to the potatoes, mashing until smooth.
- Stir in the cooked cabbage or kale and green onions.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with additional butter.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, use heavy cream instead of milk.
