- 1/2 cup cold buttermilk
- 1/2 cup cooked crab meat
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add the cold buttermilk and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the crab meat gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, lemon juice, and parsley for the sauce.
- Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the warm biscuits before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add Old Bay seasoning to the crab mixture.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
- These biscuits can be frozen before baking for later use.
