Description

A delightful fall dessert that combines the flavors of pumpkin and coffee in a creamy tiramisu.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin spice. Whip until smooth and creamy.
  2. Dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee for a few seconds, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
  3. Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the pumpkin mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and pumpkin mixture.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  7. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso instead of brewed coffee.
  • Make sure to use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
  • This dessert can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
