Description
Crispy Fried Cauliflower Bites are a delicious and crunchy snack, perfect for parties or as a side dish, served with a spicy ranch dipping sauce.

- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each cauliflower floret first in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
- Fry the coated cauliflower bites in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix ranch dressing with hot sauce to create the spicy ranch dip.
- Serve the crispy cauliflower bites hot with the spicy ranch on the side.
Notes
- For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free flour and breadcrumbs.
- Adjust the level of hot sauce in the ranch dressing to suit your taste.
- These bites can also be baked for a healthier option; just spray with oil and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes.
