Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  4. Remove chicken from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off, then coat in the flour mixture.
  5. Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  6. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and hot sauce to create the spicy mayo.
  7. Assemble the sandwich by placing fried chicken on the bun, adding lettuce, tomato, and a generous spread of spicy mayo.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
