Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can black beans
- 1 cup corn
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Transfer the browned beef to the crockpot.
- Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, corn, bell pepper, onion, garlic, and beef broth.
- Sprinkle in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
- Set the slow cooker to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- Serve warm, with bread or over rice.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute the ground beef and beef broth with plant-based alternatives.
