Description
A delicious crusty cob loaf filled with succulent garlic butter prawns, perfect for sharing.
Ingredients

- 1 large cob loaf
- 500g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 100g butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cut the top off the cob loaf and hollow out the inside.
- In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic.
- Add the prawns to the pan and cook until they turn pink.
- Stir in the chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper.
- Fill the hollowed cob loaf with the garlic butter prawns.
- Place the lid back on the cob loaf and wrap it in foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, unwrap, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice to the prawns.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
- Can substitute prawns with chicken or vegetables for a different variation.
