Description
A refreshing summer drink made with cucumber, mint, and lemon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large cucumber, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
- 4 cups water
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the cucumber slices, mint leaves, lemon juice, and sugar.
- Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher.
- Add the water and stir well.
- Serve over ice and garnish with additional mint leaves and cucumber slices if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
- For a sparkling version, replace some of the water with sparkling water.
- This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
