Description

A refreshing summer drink made with cucumber, mint, and lemon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the cucumber slices, mint leaves, lemon juice, and sugar.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher.
  4. Add the water and stir well.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with additional mint leaves and cucumber slices if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
  • For a sparkling version, replace some of the water with sparkling water.
  • This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
