- 2 Cucumbers, firm and fresh
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, flavored (garlic & herb or chive)
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Herbs and spices (optional): Fresh dill, chives, or garlic powder
Instructions
- Prepare the Cucumbers: Wash and dry your cucumbers. Slice them lengthwise into thin strips (about 1/8 inch thick).
- Mix the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream. Stir until smooth and fully blended. Season with salt, pepper, and any herbs or spices you choose.
- Spread the Filling: Lay a cucumber slice flat on the cutting board and spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture.
- Roll It Up: Start from one end of the cucumber and carefully roll it up to form a tight cylinder.
- Secure and Repeat: Use a toothpick to hold the roll-up together, if needed. Continue this process until all cucumbers are filled and rolled.
- Chill and Serve: Place the roll-ups on a serving platter. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
