Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 ounces cheese ravioli
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the ravioli, followed by half of the beef mixture, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the layers.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, beef mixture, mozzarella, and ricotta.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
