Description

A rich and flavorful casserole featuring layers of beef, cheese, and ravioli, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 ounces cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the ravioli, followed by half of the beef mixture, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the layers.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, beef mixture, mozzarella, and ricotta.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
