Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 3/4 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- Coarse sea salt for topping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet and stretch it out to fit the pan.
- Use your fingers to create dimples in the dough, then drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with rosemary and coarse sea salt.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can incorporate other herbs or toppings like olives or sun-dried tomatoes.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
