- 1 package Pizza Dough
- 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- 6 oz Pepperoni or Salami, sliced
- 1 cup Bell Peppers, sliced
- 1/2 cup Onions, sliced
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out your pizza dough into a rectangle—about ¼ inch thick.
- Layer the mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving an inch of space along the edges. Add pepperoni or salami, followed by bell peppers, onions, and Italian seasoning.
- Roll the dough starting from one long side, tucking the filling as you go. Seal the edges by pinching them closed.
- Brush the top of the rolled Stromboli generously with olive oil and optionally sprinkle with more Italian seasoning.
- Slice the top in several places to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm with marinara sauce if desired.
