Description

A delightful Stromboli filled with melted cheese, savory meats, and fresh vegetables, perfect for family gatherings or casual weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Pizza Dough
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 6 oz Pepperoni or Salami, sliced
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough into a rectangle—about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Layer the mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving an inch of space along the edges. Add pepperoni or salami, followed by bell peppers, onions, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Roll the dough starting from one long side, tucking the filling as you go. Seal the edges by pinching them closed.
  5. Brush the top of the rolled Stromboli generously with olive oil and optionally sprinkle with more Italian seasoning.
  6. Slice the top in several places to allow steam to escape.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm with marinara sauce if desired.
