- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup cherry pie filling

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and milk, mixing well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before rolling it up with the parchment paper.
- While the cake cools, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Unroll the cooled cake, spread a layer of whipped cream, and add cherry pie filling on top.
- Carefully roll the cake back up and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings before slicing and serving.

- Ensure the cake is completely cool before rolling to prevent cracking.
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
- This cake can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
