- 2 slices of bread
- 2 oz brie cheese
- 2 tbsp fig jam
- 1/2 cup fresh arugula
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Spread fig jam on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer brie cheese on top of the fig jam.
- Add fresh arugula on top of the brie.
- Top with the second slice of bread, jam side down.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For a sweeter flavor, add more fig jam.
- Use a crusty bread for better texture.
- Feel free to add additional ingredients like walnuts for crunch.
