Deliciously savory sausage rolls infused with the classic flavors of French onion soup, wrapped in flaky puff pastry.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground pork sausage
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 package puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the onions in a skillet with olive oil until golden brown, about 15–20 minutes.
- Mix the cooked onions with ground pork sausage in a bowl.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut into 3″x4″ rectangles.
- Assemble the rolls by placing filling on one end and rolling tightly, sealing with egg wash.
- Arrange rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
