Instructions
- Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into chunks.
- Boil the sweet potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma.
- Add minced garlic to the brown butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add the brown butter and garlic mixture to the sweet potatoes.
- Pour in the milk and mash until smooth and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
