Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and sugar, then sprinkle yeast on top. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, garlic powder, rosemary, and black pepper.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Punch down the risen dough and divide it into muffin-sized portions.
  8. Place the dough portions into a greased muffin tin and let them rise for another 20 minutes.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
