Description

A delicious and healthy Greek Turkey Burger topped with refreshing tzatziki sauce, perfect for a summer barbecue.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, feta cheese, red onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the turkey patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  5. Serve on whole wheat buns with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and tzatziki sauce.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add chopped jalapeños to the turkey mixture.
  • Make the tzatziki sauce ahead of time and refrigerate for better flavor.
  • These burgers can also be cooked in a skillet if a grill is not available.
