Description

Delicious and healthy Greek Turkey Burgers served with a refreshing cucumber-yogurt sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Whole wheat buns for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the sauce.
  5. Serve the turkey burgers on whole wheat buns topped with cucumber-yogurt sauce.

Notes

  • For added flavor, let the turkey mixture sit for 30 minutes before forming patties.
  • These burgers can also be grilled for a smoky flavor.
