- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- 8 slices of ham
- 8 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Spread a small amount of Dijon mustard on each triangle, if using.
- Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each triangle.
- Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end to the point.
- Place the rolled bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the crescent roll bites.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a slice of jalapeño with the ham and cheese.
- These bites can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
- Serve with a side of mustard or your favorite dipping sauce.
