Delicious homemade blueberry sweet rolls that are soft, fluffy, and bursting with fresh blueberries.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add flour and knead until a soft dough forms.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Sprinkle blueberries and cinnamon over the dough, then roll it up tightly.
- Slice the roll into equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make icing and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh blueberries.
- These rolls can be frozen after baking; just reheat before serving.
- Adjust the sweetness of the icing to your preference.
