Instructions
- Preheat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to about 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the onion by cutting it into thick slices and separating the rings.
- Make the filling by combining cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and diced jalapeños in a mixing bowl.
- Stuff the thicker onion rings with the creamy mixture, ensuring they are packed well.
- Coat each filled onion ring in breadcrumbs, pressing lightly.
- Fry the onion rings in batches for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain the rings on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauces.
Notes
Store leftover rings in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For best reheating, use an oven or air fryer.
