- 4 boneless pork chops
- 1 cup herb stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Combine the sautéed onions and garlic with the herb stuffing mix, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until cohesive.
- Cut a pocket into each pork chop deep enough to hold stuffing without cutting through.
- Fill each pocket generously with the herb stuffing mixture.
- Sear the stuffed pork chops in the skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer the pork chops to a baking dish and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
