Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 cup herb stuffing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Combine the sautéed onions and garlic with the herb stuffing mix, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until cohesive.
  4. Cut a pocket into each pork chop deep enough to hold stuffing without cutting through.
  5. Fill each pocket generously with the herb stuffing mixture.
  6. Sear the stuffed pork chops in the skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the pork chops to a baking dish and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  9. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
