- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 4 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup kimchi
- 1 cup sliced cucumbers
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the marinated beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through.
- In a serving dish, layer cooked rice, followed by the cooked beef, kimchi, cucumbers, and green onions.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add gochujang (Korean chili paste) to the marinade.
