Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef short ribs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 1/4 cup minced garlic
- 1/4 cup minced green onions
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, green onions, ginger, sesame seeds, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the beef short ribs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the ribs from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
- Grill the ribs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely charred and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with rice and your favorite side dishes.
Notes
- For best results, marinate the ribs overnight.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar according to your taste.
- These ribs can also be cooked in the oven if a grill is not available.
