Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
- In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides.
- Once browned, add the tomato sauce to the skillet and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the rice according to package instructions.
- Serve the meatballs over the cooked rice, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
