- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced (for sauce)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- While meatballs are baking, prepare the lemon garlic yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, and olive oil in a bowl.
- Serve meatballs warm with the lemon garlic yogurt sauce on the side.
Notes
- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- These meatballs can be frozen for later use.
- Adjust the garlic in the sauce to taste.
