- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in the marinade and let them soak for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix flour and breadcrumbs together.
- Remove chicken from the marinade and coat each piece in the flour and breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
