  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh herbs (such as rosemary or thyme)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, minced garlic, and onion powder in a small bowl.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the beef tenderloin, ensuring even coating.
  4. Place fresh herbs on top of the tenderloin.
  5. Heat a skillet over high heat and sear the tenderloin on all sides for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 20-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 135°F for medium-rare.
  7. Let the roast rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
