- 500ml milk
- 100g sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 100g pistachios, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Shred the kunafa pastry and mix it with melted butter until well coated.
- Press the kunafa mixture into muffin tins to form nests.
- Bake the nests for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
- Remove the nests from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Fill each kunafa nest with the cream mixture.
- Top with chopped pistachios before serving.
