Description

Mozzarella Chicken in Basil Cream Sauce is a delicious and creamy dish that combines tender chicken breasts with melted mozzarella cheese and a flavorful basil cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix heavy cream and chopped basil.
  5. Pour the basil cream sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
  6. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
