Ingredients

  • 2 cups of milk

  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 1 cup of cooked sausage or bacon, crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a greased baking dish, layer the cubed bread and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and mustard.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and cheese, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled sausage or bacon on top.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  7. The next morning, remove the plastic wrap and bake for 45-50 minutes until the casserole is set and golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
