Description

A delicious and unique dish combining savory pan-seared steak with sweet caramelized peaches, perfect for a special dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steaks to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and butter.
  6. Add the peach halves cut side down and cook for 2-3 minutes until caramelized.
  7. Serve the steaks topped with caramelized peaches and garnish with fresh thyme.

Notes

  • For best results, use ripe but firm peaches.
  • Adjust cooking time based on desired steak doneness.
  • Pair with a side salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
