Description

Peanut Butter Chocolate Oat Bars are a delicious and healthy snack option that combines the rich flavors of peanut butter and chocolate with wholesome oats.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Mix until well combined and the mixture is sticky.
  4. Add in the dark chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if using, and stir to combine.
  5. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
