- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Mix until well combined and the mixture is sticky.
- Add in the dark chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if using, and stir to combine.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
