Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a round cake pan, melt the butter and mix with brown sugar.
  3. Arrange pineapple slices over the butter and sugar mixture.
  4. In a bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  6. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  7. Pour the batter over the pineapple slices in the pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
