- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
- In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat until it comes to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and baking soda.
- In a large bowl, combine Chex cereal and chopped pecans.
- Pour the praline mixture over the cereal and pecans, stirring to coat evenly.
- Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
