- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup root beer
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Whipped cream for topping
- Cherries for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together root beer, milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve warm topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use vanilla extract in the batter.
- These pancakes can be made gluten-free by substituting with a gluten-free flour blend.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
