Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ribeye steak
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 large baking potato
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Asparagus spears
  • Butter (optional for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker or grill to 225-250°F (107-121°C).
  2. Season the ribeye steak generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the steak onto the grill or smoker and let it cook for 1 to 1.5 hours until it reaches your desired doneness.
  4. Prick the baking potato with a fork, rub it with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt.
  5. Bake the potato in a preheated oven at 400°F (204°C) for about 45-60 minutes.
  6. Steam the broccoli florets during the last 10 minutes of the potato’s cooking time.
  7. Cut open the baked potato and fluff the inside with a fork.
  8. Stir in cheddar cheese and steamed broccoli.
  9. Grill or roast asparagus spears until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  10. Serve the smoked ribeye alongside the loaded baked potato and grilled asparagus.

Notes

Allow the ribeye to rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing. For best results, use a meat thermometer for doneness.
