- 1 ribeye steak
- Salt and pepper
- 1 large baking potato
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Asparagus spears
- Butter (optional for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker or grill to 225-250°F (107-121°C).
- Season the ribeye steak generously with salt and pepper.
- Place the steak onto the grill or smoker and let it cook for 1 to 1.5 hours until it reaches your desired doneness.
- Prick the baking potato with a fork, rub it with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake the potato in a preheated oven at 400°F (204°C) for about 45-60 minutes.
- Steam the broccoli florets during the last 10 minutes of the potato’s cooking time.
- Cut open the baked potato and fluff the inside with a fork.
- Stir in cheddar cheese and steamed broccoli.
- Grill or roast asparagus spears until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve the smoked ribeye alongside the loaded baked potato and grilled asparagus.
Notes
Allow the ribeye to rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing. For best results, use a meat thermometer for doneness.
