A delicious and flavorful dish combining smoky Cajun spices with tender salmon and pasta.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  4. Remove the salmon from the skillet and flake it into bite-sized pieces.
  5. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and cherry tomatoes; simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and flaked salmon to the skillet; toss to combine.
  7. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add more Cajun seasoning.
  • Can substitute salmon with shrimp or chicken if desired.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
