  • 23 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan generously with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk the melted butter, milk, and eggs together in another bowl.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Gently fold in the diced apples.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Whisk together powdered sugar and milk for the glaze and drizzle over the cooled bread before serving.
