- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated apple
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup apple jelly
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated apple, onion, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and shape into a loaf.
- Place the meatloaf in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix apple jelly and Dijon mustard, then spread over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding chopped herbs like parsley or basil.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
