Description

A delicious and flavorful Spicy Cajun Shrimp Pasta that combines succulent shrimp with a creamy, spicy sauce and pasta, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in cherry tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet, tossing to combine.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a non-dairy alternative.
