Description

A refreshing and spicy twist on the classic Michelada, perfect for hot days or as a zesty appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cold light Mexican beer (12 oz)
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 2 dashes hot sauce (like Tabasco)
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash soy sauce
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedges (for garnish)
  • Celery salt (for rimming the glass)

Instructions

  1. Rim the glass with lime juice and dip it into celery salt to coat the rim.
  2. In a shaker, combine lime juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, hot pepper sauce, black pepper, cumin, chili powder, and salt.
  3. Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake well to mix the ingredients.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
  5. Slowly pour the cold beer into the glass, allowing it to mix gently with the other ingredients.
  6. Garnish with lime wedges and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less hot sauce.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute beer with a non-alcoholic beer.
