Description
A delicious and easy-to-make Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake that combines the flavors of sushi with the comfort of a baked dish.

- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 lb salmon fillet
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a pot, combine the sushi rice and water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- While the rice is cooking, prepare the salmon by baking it in the oven for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil to create the spicy sauce.
- Once the salmon is cooked, flake it into small pieces and mix it with the spicy sauce and chopped green onions.
- In a baking dish, layer the cooked sushi rice, followed by the salmon mixture.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until heated through and slightly crispy on top.
- Garnish with nori strips, avocado slices, and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less sriracha.
- Can substitute salmon with tuna or crab for variation.
- Serve with soy sauce and pickled ginger on the side.
