- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1–2 habanero peppers, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the diced mangoes, heavy cream, coconut milk, sugar, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
- Carefully add the finely chopped habanero peppers to the mixture, blending again until well incorporated.
- Taste the mixture and adjust the heat by adding more habanero if desired.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Once churned, transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Serve and enjoy your spicy-sweet mango-habanero ice cream!
Notes
- For a milder version, use less habanero or remove the seeds.
- This ice cream pairs well with fresh fruit or a drizzle of honey.
