Description

A unique and adventurous ice cream that combines the sweetness of mango with the heat of habanero peppers for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 12 habanero peppers, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the diced mangoes, heavy cream, coconut milk, sugar, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
  2. Carefully add the finely chopped habanero peppers to the mixture, blending again until well incorporated.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust the heat by adding more habanero if desired.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Once churned, transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  7. Serve and enjoy your spicy-sweet mango-habanero ice cream!

Notes

  • For a milder version, use less habanero or remove the seeds.
