- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until just al dente. Drain well.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and cream cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Gently stuff each cooked shell with the cheese mixture and place in a baking dish.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce evenly across the bottom of your baking dish.
- Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish and top with remaining marinara and extra mozzarella.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
Notes
Make-ahead tips include preparing the filling a day in advance and storing leftovers in an airtight container. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
