A delicious Teriyaki Chicken Sub topped with crunchy sesame slaw, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken breasts in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the sesame slaw by mixing cabbage, carrots, sesame seeds, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Once the chicken is cooked, slice it and place it in the sub rolls.
- Top the chicken with the sesame slaw.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sliced green onions on top of the slaw.
- Feel free to use store-bought teriyaki sauce for convenience.
- This recipe can be easily doubled for larger servings.
